Welcome back outdoors!!!

On behave of the Scouts and Scouters with the 23rd Troop, I would like to welcome Emmett, Ethan, Nolan and Jacob to the Troop. We are excited to have you make the run up from the pack.
As mentions to the new Scubs, senior cubs who have joined the troop, we will be meeting on Thursday evenings at Queen Elizabeth Park. The Scouts will be taking the new youth under their wings and will be preparing them for their investiture as Scouts. Our meeting time is the same as cubs. Youth are reminded to dress for the weather as we will be outside from now to the end of the year.
We will have a new Scouter joining us in the new year. Scouter Peter Crocker will be joining the troop. Currently, Scouter Will Southcombe, Scouter Ian and myself, when needed, have been Scouters with the Troop.
We look forward to seeing you all at the park when we beginning with our outdoor skills (knife and axe safety, fire building, and knots and lashing) this week.
I have created a blog page were I update everyone on coming events and post news from camps and hikes. Please take a moment to bookmark the site and check it out weekly.
